Jennifer Severns

Jennifer is an Idaho Native and was born and raised in the Boise area. She was a 3 sport Varsity player and All-star athlete in High School. She was chosen as the States Army Scholar Athlete. Both Grandfathers served in the military. Her Paternal Grandfather served in the Navy during the Korean War. Her Maternal Grandfather served in the Army. She has multiple cousins that have and are serving the country today in all branches of the military. 

She went on to become a Massage Therapist and Graduated from Apollo College & The Institute of Somatic Therapy with a 4.0 gpa. She opened a successful Massage Practice which specialized in all facets of care. Her specialty was Labor & Delivery, helping aid in the delivery of many of the Treasure Valley's babies. She is certified in Prenatal, Infant, Hot Stone, Swedish, Acupressure, Reflexology and Oncology massage. She's also an Instructor of Infant & Prenatal Massage. 

Jennifer is also the owner of a thriving Embroidery & Screen Printing businesses, Big Foot Customs which has been in business for 11 years. 

Jennifer has volunteered locally as a Cub Master and Girl Scout Leader for 7 years, she wanted to give underprivileged youth an opportunity to find passion in the outdoors and learn to become responsible citizens. Jennifer has also coached Middle School basketball for 8 years. She recently completed training for the State of Idaho's highest certification for High School Basketball coaches. She was able to show youth that as long as they worked hard, worked as a team, and built trust among each other they could accomplish anything.

Jennifer competed in the Mrs. Idaho United States pageant in 2016. She was crowned Mrs. US Ambassador from 2017-2018. And again competed in the Mrs. Idaho Premier World pageant in 2018.  

Jennifer has competed in many Half Marathons, Marathons, Triathlons and Cycling events. She is an avid outdoorsman and survivalist. She hunts both rifle and bow. She's an avid hiker, fly fisherman and kayaker. She's an advocate and sponsored athlete for the Idaho Beef Council. 

Jennifer is the mother of 3 children. Her daughter is currently fighting an aggressive form of Leukemia. Her oldest son will be attending Lineman school in March, and is preparing to join the Air Force. 

Jennifer is an Emergency 911 Dispatcher and Communications Officer for the Boise County Sheriff's Office.
