JUNE 20, 2020

Sgt. First Class Ryan T. Kisrow, 37, stationed at Fort Bragg, NC and of Mishawaka, IN, died June 20, 2020. Ryan was born in San Antonio, TX on October 2, 1982, the son of Vince and Linda Kisrow. He graduated from Penn High School with the class of '01 and was a starting running back for all of his 4 years there; he was extremely proud to be a part of the team that won the State Football Championship. Prior to joining the U.S. Army, he attended Tri-State University (now Trine University) and on April 4, 2008, Ryan married Brittany Wallace in South Bend. 

Sgt. First Class Kisrow has served in the National guard but that wasn't enough for him. U.S. Army for 15 years and his assignments also included working as a Recruiter.  He became an Army Ranger and was deployed to multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

Ryan was an avid sports fan, especially Notre Dame football; he had an adventurous nature and free spirit, and was completely devoted to his family & friends. 

On Father's Day Weekend, the Kisrow family was spending time on Myrtle Beach when a rip tide caught his son.  Kisrow fought and was able to save his son's life however lost his own life in doing so. 

Sgt. First Class Ryan T. Kisrow was burried in full military honors.
